Naked Juice Class Action Settlement Announced - Submit Your Claim

Naked Juice Class Action Settlement Announced

In 2001, The Naked Juice company was sued for using GMO ingredients and using deceptive labels of "all natural" on their products.

As the Organic Consumers Association explains:

According to plaintiffs, Naked Juice used soy ingredients that are genetically engineered "by design or by contamination." (Naked Juice doesn't use certified organic or verified non-GMO soy.) Naked Juice intentionally used misleading language to give consumers "the false impression that the beverage's vitamin content is due to the nutritious fruits and juices, rather than added synthetic compounds." And the PepsiCo subsidiary contained a laundry list of synthetic chemicals, including calcium pantothenate (synthetically produced from formaldehyde).

Many are unaware that the owner of Naked Juice is the infamous PepsiCo.  PepsiCo bankrolled the defeat of the "Right to Know" GMO labeling campaign (Prop 37) in California.

As of August 28th and until December 17, 2013, you may be eligible to receive either up to $75 with proof-of-purchase or up to $45 without proof-of-purchase directly from PepsiCo. Any individual who claims to have purchased Naked Juice between the dates of September 27, 2007 to August 19, 2013, even if they have no proof of purchase, can participate in the class action claims and receive up to $45 as part of the settlement.

Many organizations and websites (such as Natural News), including myself, are officially requesting readers who purchased Naked Juice during the time period to file a claim and get your check for up to $45 from PepsiCo.  If you have proof-of-purchase for even more money, even better!  I share the belief with other organizations and websites that although $45 may not seem like a lot of money, if enough people file claims, it will not only cost PepsiCo around $9 million in payouts, it will also send a very powerful message that we as consumers are angry and fed up with being deceived about the products we purchase.

You can file your claim here where you must give your name and address.  Your name should be protected by the courts, but as many know this can not always be guarnteed:

Please only submit legitimate claims.
